Butterscotch Bars – healthier version

The term ‘healthier’ being relative…these are more healthy than the original recipe. I found this version over at Heavenly Homemaker.  Apparently, she took a basic recipe and substituted some healthier ingredients. This version does have a little different taste to it, but it’s good!  I enjoy it alone, but I think some vanilla ice cream [...]

Homemade Drop Spindles!

After taking a spinning class last weekend, I realized that the spindle I had was really too small and light to use very well.  I shopped around for a new one and there are a lot of expensive spindles out there!  I did find one that I could buy shipped for $7.50.  I probably would [...]

If you really feel that you need to know, go ahead and think up some wild mom-homeschooler-employee-daughter-Facebooker-friend craziness and you will probably not be too far off. My hats, they are [...]

Book Review: The Noticer, by Andy Andrews

Heather and I discussed the CPSIA on the Grace Talk podcast this morning and you can listen to it right here! Click on the arrow next to “Select a past episode,” and choose “CPSIA meets Dr. Seuss…”  It should load and stream from there. If this doesn’t work for you, you can also download the [...]
